Road Trip! (On the Route Formally Known as 66)
Greetings All!
Something different… I’m accompanying my godson, Charles McDonald, on his road trip to Los Angeles (at least part of the way). We leave Springfield, MO, Thursday afternoon, July 21, 2001. Hope to go through Joplin, MO, Oklahoma City and be in Amarillo by midnight. Then, it’s on to Gallup, NM as Flagstaff, AZ, on Friday. Saturday, (after a detour to the Grand Canyon) it’s on to Winona, Kingman, and Las Vegas. And then I hop on a plane at 12:50 AM on Sunday and fly home.
And for those of you paying attention… yes… that is seven of twelve of the cities in the fabled song. 😉 Just for kicks, for the next few days, I’ve enabled public sharing of my address (it will go blank after that).
